Why ?

Everyone thinks they're paying to much for motor insurance.
This site grew from a one model homepage list of quotes for my first motorbike.
I was disgusted at the renewal fees demanded after my "free" year.
Asking other owners to submit their quotes helped me shop around for a better deal.

How ?

Having taught myself some PHP and MySQL (website stuff) I decided to make the site dynamic.
Targetting specific models with good online followings keeps the database comparative.
Visitors can compare quotes that match their profile and bike or car model (or one similar).
Certain insurers are better for certain models or age groups which this site can help identify.
This site won't stop you ringing round, but it will give you the ideal list to ring first.

What next ?

The more quotes submitted the better the database becomes.
Owners who submit are invited to update their quotes yearly.
Most importantly, make sure you check back when your renewal is due.
I hope to add the facility to rate your insurer on various indicators. (pre sales, post claim etc)
